PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back projection type display device by which a video can be viewed on the front and back sides without increasing the installation space. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a front surface side screen 4, a back surface side screen 6, two video projecting devices 2 and 3 and a both- side total reflection mirror 4, and video light from one video projecting device 2 is guided to the front surface side screen 5 by the both-side total reflection mirror 4, and the video light from the other video projecting device 3 is guided to the back surface side screen 6 by the both-side total reflection mirror 4.
