PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate state management and to improve the productivity, reli ability, and maintainability of program development by performing the state management independently for each sequence control when simultaneous parallel processing for the plural sequence control processes are carried out. SOLUTION: A state management table for a sequence A and a state management table for a sequence B are constituted independently of each other. The state management tales are those for structuring only sequence control, which are established alone without considering different sequences. When an event is generated, the generated event is analyzed to decide whether the event is an event (message) for the sequence A or an event (message) for the sequence B. When the event is the event (message) for the sequence A, only the state of the sequence A is updated by referring to the state management table for the sequence A.
