PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a broadcasting form for automatically executing necessary processing with respect to contents for broadcasting though a user on a receiving side does not execute special operation. SOLUTION: In this broadcasting method, when transmitting the contents for broadcasting by a broadcasting transmitter 10, contents identification information for identifying the contents and time point information expressing the starting time point and the finishing time point of the broadcasting contents are superimposed on a transmission carrier and broadcast simultaneously. A receiver 20 executes necessary processing based on the time point information with respect to the broadcasting contents to be specified by the contents identification information.
