<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the display response of a weather picture with a high utilization frequency by referring to the utilization frequency where received weather data are defined in an environmental table, processing the utilization frequency and storing it in a memory or a hard disk in a hierarchy format. SOLUTION: A weather picture that can be created is classified into three types, namely low, high, and extremely high utilization frequencies, according to the utilization frequency, which are registered in an environmental table 120. By referring to the environmental table 120 when receiving weather data, weather picture creating processing is made in advance for a weather picture with a high utilization frequency and that with an extremely high utilization frequency. After that, the weather picture with a high utilization frequency is stored in hard disks 111 and 112 and that with an extremely high utilization frequency is stored in a memory 113 as image data in a hierarchy format. Also, in the case of a display request, by referring to the environmental table 120, data are inputted from a destination storage location corresponding to each utilization frequency for display. A conventional method is used for the weather picture with a low utilization frequency.</p> |
