<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost for introducing a new device by adding a speech node change-over device for identifying a speaker and transferring only a packet transmitted by the speaker to another participant, as a peripheral device. SOLUTION: This multi-spot conference device is constituted of a packet exchange device 10 which includes a filter part 11 for abandoning the packet having a prescribed address, and the speech node change-over device 1 which includes a speech node identifying part 3 being a means for identifying a speech node. Then an operation setting change requesting part 2 is arranged, which is for changing the setting of the address to be abandoned in the filter part 11 according to the change-over of the speech node which is identified by the part 3. As a result, it is realized that only the packet from the speech node is transferred to another node by synchronization, while corresponding to the change-over of the speech node. Multi-address information is limited only to information from the speech node, so that a transmission line band to be required for conference is not proportional to the number of participants in the conference.</p> |
