<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OAM processing system that, with an easy circuit, which reduces the throughput of a CLAD processing by OAM processing in an ATM transmitter can be avoided. SOLUTION: An OAM cell insertion/extraction processing section 30 is provided in the middle of a UTOPIA interface section, that is used for connection between an SAR processing section 20 and a PHY layer processing section 40. Furthermore, in addition to a system control processing processor section 10, an OAM control processing processor section 40 that exclusively conducts OAM control processing is provided. Thus, the load of the control processing relating to the OAM by the system control processing processor section 10 is relieved, so as to enhance the processing capability of the CLAD processing for reducing the reduction in the throughput.</p> |
