PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component with external terminals of a structure, wherein even when for a large-sized product cracks can be prevented from being generated in the component, and the component is high in reliability. SOLUTION: A width W1 of bonding parts 10, which are bonded to the end surfaces of a ceramic electronic component element 4 of external terminals 5a and 5b, is formed narrower than the width equal to the width W2 of internal electrodes 2 provided in the element 2. Moreover, the bonding parts 10 of the terminals 5a and 5b are respectively bonded to the end surfaces of the element 4, in such a way that the electrodes 2 are respectively positioned within regions 11 exposed to the end surfaces of the element 4, when the electrodes 2 are viewed two-dimensionally.
