PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a computer system which is increased in manufacture efficiency by providing a manufacture process code having an instruction group for allowing a processor to constitute an internal data structure needed to support partitions right after initial preparations of a drive without rebooting a system. SOLUTION: Characteristics of a hard disk drive includes two primary partitions(p). One is represented as a primary partition in an operation state and the other is represented as a primary partition which is not in operation. Those primary partitions are assigned as a logical drive C: and a logical drive D:. Further, a block device like a RAM disk is included. A logical drive E: is assigned to this block device. It is possible to assign further logical devices and device characteristics according to the details given for the computer system.
