PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus protocol converter capable of transferring continuous data by preventing any padding data from being inserted between data and data even after the transfer of data is interrupted. SOLUTION: This bus protocol converter 10 is composed of a bus protocol B controller 13 for receiving transfer data from a bus B30 whose bus width is small, a bus protocol A controller 12 for transmitting transfer data to the destination of transmission by using the bus A20 whose bus width is large, a bus protocol conversion controller 11 for realizing the transfer of the transfer data from the bus B30 by using the bus A20, a buffer memory 14 for storing normally transferred data and surplus data, and an inside bus 15 for transferring the data from the bus B to the bus A.
