PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel display by making a displaying state remarkably different between at the time of light source lighting and at the time of light source non-lighting, and to express fine display in the displaying state. SOLUTION: In this display board 1, an off-set printing part 3 comprising combiningly plural colored layers is provided in a translucent substrate 2, and a display comprising characters, guraduations, symbols and the like, and a background surrounding the display are formed in the off-set printing part 3. A smoked layer 5 of dark color is provided in a front face side of the printing part 3 to cover the printing part 3. A light source 6 is provided in a backface side of the translucent substrate 2, and the off-set printing part 3 is transmission-lighted by lighting the light source 6. In this case, the display and the background are not visible at the nonlighting time of the light source 6, they are transmission-lighted at the lighting time of the light source 6, a fine transmitted image by off-set printing appears thereby, and a display state is made remarkably different between at the lighting time of the light source 6 and at the nonlighting time of the source 6.
