PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the oscillation limit value of a higher-orderΔΣmodulation circuit provided with mutually multiplestage-connected integrators, in multiple stages adaptively to a switching amplifier, etc., utilizing the modulated output of the modulation circuit. SOLUTION: Summed value of the inputs of multipliers A1-A6 from an input terminal X and the outputs of the multipliers A1-A6 via a feedback loop R0 is controlled to so as not to exceed 1 by adjusting the multiplicative coefficients of the multipliers A1-A6 to 1/2 or smaller. In addition, the multiplicative coefficient of the 2m-order (m: a positive integer) multiplier of the continuous multipliers is made smaller than that of the (2m-1)-th order multiplier, and additionally, the coefficients are made smaller at least one spot.
