PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct errors caused in a timing generator, with a very simple configuration, by comparing a report signal from the timing generator with a data counter provided inside a general purpose processor and reporting comparison result to the timing generator. SOLUTION: A general-purpose processor A 104 changes the value of the data counter 114, immediately after it is discriminated that reception data is inputted to the processor A 104. The processor A 104 can fetch the number of fetched reception data by the value. The processor A 104 discriminates the value of the data counter 114 at the time when the report signal 107 generated from the timing generator 106 is inputted, compares it with a counter, where an input is originally executed for every section of a frame and calculates the difference. After the two counters are compared, the processor reports the result to the timing generator 106 by the report signal 107, regardless of the existence of the difference in the counters. |
