<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of emitting a wide-band laser beam of <=5fs pulse width. SOLUTION: The laser device is provided with front optical systems 400a and 400b for compressing signal light outputted from a laser light source 101, nonlinear optical crystal 112 for amplifying the signal light in accordance with the input of exciting light, and rear optical systems 100a and 100b for compressing the amplified signal light, and the front and rear optical systems are provided with special multi-layered film mirrors 100a, 100b, 400a and 400b for reflecting the inputted light. As for the laser device, the front optical systems for compressing the signal light outputted from the laser light source is installed in addition to the rear optical systems for compressing the amplified signal light, then the chirp of such the signal light is compensated and the pulse width is controlled to be <=5fs.</p> |
