After forming the electrodes 7, they are subjected to eliminating binding processing and then baked in a backing furnace, the elements are dipped in and impregnated with a heated and molten fatty acid or rosin contg. abietic acid in an ordinary air or vacuum atmosphere, the elements are cleaned with an org. solvent to remove excessive fatty acids, etc., deposited to the elements, and an electrode layer 8 is laminated on the surface of the base electrodes 7 to form external electrodes 6.
