PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal sampling device capable of eliminating complicated state of assembling, capable of collecting a sample in a good state at a constant position of a molten metal bath, and capable of realizing rapid analysis. SOLUTION: A molten metal sampling device is constituted so as to have a small-sized container 2, having a through-hole 11 for discharging the gas in the container to the outside provided to the side wall thereof and having an opening part provided to either one of the upper and lower parts thereof; the support rod 1 supporting the container 2 and having a flow passage for discharging gas; and the closure part 4 of the small-sized container 2 and the sample mold 3 housed in the small-sized container 2. In this case, the sample mold 3 has a hollow part filled with a molten metal, a sample inlet port 10' for guiding the molten metal to the hollow part and the gas vent small hole 12 for venting the gas discharged from the hollow part provided to the sidewall of the sample inlet part 10, and the sample inlet port 10' of the sample mold 3 is provided so as to be exposed to the outer surface of the closure part 4 of the small-sized container 2.
