PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating machine and a motor-driven vehicle therewith which has a high material availability rate in manufacturing a rotor core, and is compact and lightweight. SOLUTION: The rotor core 4 of this rotating machine 1 provided with a stator 2 having a rotor core 4 around which a stator winding 5 is wound, and a rotor 3 having a rotor core 7 rotatably facing the rotor core 4 so that a clearance may be formed therebetween, consists of a plurality of salient-pole magnetic cores 73 disposed in circumferential direction on the clearance side, and a plurality of rotor yoke parts 76 forming a magnetic path passing the magnetic flux of the respective salient-pole magnetic cores 73. Each salient-pole magnetic core 73 and each rotor yoke part 76 facing each salient-pole magnetic core 73 are divided as one unit circumferentially. |
