PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give the degree of freedom in the design so that a design image can be seen in the part where the design image overlaps with a display image by performing a see-through display by compositing both image data of an overlapped part of the image and the display image so that the design image can be seen through the display image. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 21 judges that a display image exists on a design image on the basis of the data of the design image loaded on a first memory 14. When the microcomputer 21 detects an abnormality, an abnormality of engine oil temperature in this case, on the basis of the detecting signal from a sensor, the microcomputer 21 reads out the image data among the display image of the alarm display loaded on a seventh memory 20. As a result, the microcomputer 21 reads out the transparency added to the image data of the display image, and reads out the image data of the design image of an overlapped part with the display image. Consequently, the whole image can be easily caught by a simple method.
