PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microphone unit which can provide spatial impression of sound in the left and right direction without sacrificing a front sensitivity, can obtain characteristics equal to that of a unidirectional microphone element expensive and weak to vibrations or strong winds even if the unidirectional microphone element is not used, further, can improve an ability for excluding unwanted sounds and is effective when the miniaturization etc., is required owing to limit on the shape. SOLUTION: First to third microphone elements are arranged so that a straight line connecting the first and second microphone element and a straight line connecting the first and third microphone elements can form a certain angle. Then, the output signal of a first synthesizing circuit 4 is used as the first channel signal of a stereo signal and the output signal of a second synthesizing circuit 5 is used as the second channel signal of the stereo signal.
