PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of vibration characteristics and to easily adjust the frequency. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric vibrator is provided with a piezoelectric vibration piece 11 fixed to a container at one end and airtightly sealed inside the container, exciting electrode films 17 respectively independently provided on both front and rear surfaces and side face of the piezoelectric vibration piece 11 and provided with a connection part 30 for connecting an external terminal and a frequency fine adjustment part 36 provided on the tip side of the exciting electrode film 17. In this case, the frequency fine adjustment part 36 is provided with a Cr film formed together with the Cr film for constituting the exciting electrode film 17 and a laminated film 37 for which an Au film is formed on a top layer.
