PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite image forming system that enhances the operability in the case of conducting facsimile transmission and can fax with the same image drawing output as a print output. SOLUTION: In the composite image forming system consisting of a host system 100 and a printer 112 executing a facsimile transmission function, a FAX driver is used to conduct setting processing of transmission attribute information and transmission destination information and informs a printer driver of the set transmission attribute information and transmission destination information. The printer driver converts a document from an application program on the host system 100 into an output image control instruction to the printer 112 and generates a facsimile transmission control instruction from the transmission destination information and transmits an output control instruction including them to the printer 112.
