PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube and a getter support plate without occurring glass cracks and deforming the getter support plate due to heat during getter-flashing. SOLUTION: In this getter support plate 20, heat generation of a getter 30 during getter-flashing and fine cracks in a funnel glass due to a high frequency for heating are prevented and deformation of a getter support plate 20 caused by heat and a spring pressure applied to a contact support part 24 is also prevented whereby a mount part 21 to be fixed inside a cathode-ray tube is provided on one end of the getter support plate 20, a getter hold part 22 for holding the getter 30 is provided on the other end thereof, and the contact support part 24 contacting to the funnel glass is disposed on a spring part 23 for connecting the mount part 21 to the getter hold part 22.
