PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for electrophotographic photoreceptor free from the generation of internal strain and then, prevented in deformation and having excellent dimensional accuracy and a producing method of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: A producing method for the substrate for electrophotographic photoreceptor is exectuted by precisely machining a thickness tube 7 obtained by extruding an aluminum based metal by ironing or drawing. Before the precise machining, the thickness tube 7 is annealed at 500-650 deg.C for >=1.0 hr. A photosensitive layer is formed on the surface of the resultant substrate.
