PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tandem scanning optical device that the curvature (bow) of a scanning line caused by the assembling error of optical parts and the like can be corrected in every scanning optical system by simple adjustment operation. SOLUTION: 2nd lenses 132, (232), (332) and (432) are arranged so that they can be adjusted to be turned around a rotary shaft being in parallel with a horizontal scanning direction in order to correct the curvature (bow) of the scanning line to be formed on a photoreceptor drum. The 2nd lens 132 of the 1st scanning optical system is pressed to the bottom wall side of an upper housing 10 by a presser spring 150. Besides, one side thereof along in an optical axis direction is supported at two points by the bottom wall and the other side is supported at one point by an adjusting screw 151 constituting a swing and tilt angle adjustment mechanism. By adjusting the projecting amount of the screw 151 by using a driver, the turning action of the 2nd lens 132 can be adjusted. Thus, the degree of the curvature of the scanning line to be formed on the photoreceptor drum (31) can be changed.
