PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation-detecting sensor which can surely detect rotation of a body to be detected even when the body changes its orientation in a rotational direction and can reduce manufacture costs. SOLUTION: A rotation-detecting element 14 for detecting rotation of a body 9 to be detected is mounted to a sensor main body 11. The rotation- detecting element 14 is covered with a case 20. The sensor main body 11 and case 20 can be freely set via a flange 22 to a body 8. In the thus-constituted rotation-detecting sensor 10, when the flange 22 is set to the case 20 to fix the case 20 to the sensor main body 11, an angle between the flange 22 of the case 20 and the rotation-detecting element 14 is made freely variable. In other words, the flange 22 of the case 20 and the rotation-detecting element 14 of the sensor main body 11 are positioned with the angle therebetween set to an optional angle, and then the sensor main body 11 and case 20 are fused freely as predetermined.
