PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector which is easily assembled while power can be saved and miniaturization can be achieved. SOLUTION: This coaxial connector is fitted to or separated from a counterpart coaxial connector. During fitting, the coaxial connectors are electrically connected to each other since a contact complex is brought into contact with the counterpart coaxial connector. In this case, the contact complex includes a center contact 1 disposed at the center on a virtual plane including one axis, and an outside contact 3 on one side and a detecting contact 5 on the other side, which are disposed on both sides at a reference surface, i.e., the virtual plane including one axis in a laterally symmetric manner with a predetermined interval with respect to the contact 1 at the center.
