PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail device for easily setting transmission attributes in plural addresses. SOLUTION: When an address is inputted, a setting judging part 41 checks whether or not a secrecy multi-address flag is turned on. Then, the setting judging part 41 judges that a first address should be set in a field [To:], and judges that a second or more addresses should be set in a field [Bcc:]. A header preparing part 45 describes the first input address in the field [To:] of a mail header, and describes the second and more addresses in the field [Bcc:] of the mail header. Then, the mail header prepared by the header preparing part 45 is synthesized with a TIFF file text coded by a text coding part 46 by a synthesizing part 47 so that an electronic mail can be generated.
