PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a terminal inspection and a repair due to a defect of the terminal to reduce cost by performing the inspection of the attached terminal without extra labor during the assembly work of a linear body. SOLUTION: This jig 10 is so composed as to catch an attached terminal T1 when the assembly work of a wire C is performed using the attached terminal T1 as a reference. In this case, for instance, a cylindrically formed first cylindrical part 11 having an outside diameter of (ϕ3-α), a cylindrically formed stepped part 13 having an outside diameter ofϕ2 and a cylindrically formed second cylindrical part 12 having an outside diameter of (ϕ4-α) with respect to the inside diameter ofϕ3 of a round hole H of the terminal T1 are formed from the end part side on the unfixed open side.
