PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a facsimile machine by an external terminal and to comfortably operate a facsimile system by providing a result monitoring means for executing the transmission to the external terminal of a communicated result by the facsimile machine of a result transmission means periodically or for each communication. In the system, relating to a personal computer, a facsimile state monitoring part 27 receives a response by inquiring a normal (repetition) state from a facsimile machine side and monitors the state of a transmission file to be memory transmitted. Then, when a memory device is normally ended or when an error is caused, a user interface part 26 displays and outputs a memory transmission completion message or an error generation alarm message at a display.
