PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently recording line data at the time of recording the line data handwritten-inputted by a digitizer as time sequential data. SOLUTION: Start point data are prepared based on initial coordinate data sampled immediately after the generation of pen ON signals (150) and middle point data are successively prepared based on the sampled second and succeeding coordinate data and written in a line recording file (230). In the case that the coordinate difference data of the coordinate data (a) at the point of time of certain sampling and the coordinate data b sampled after that are below a prescribed lower limit value (200), the middle point data are not prepared and the coordinate data b are dismissed. In the case that the coordinate difference dataΔS exceed a prescribed upper limit value (210), the dataΔS are divided into plural values not exceeding the upper limit value and the plural middle point data corresponding to the respective ones are prepared (220).
