PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of comparatively easily branching light from a single light source, etc., capable of evenly eliminating the residual charge of a photoreceptor, and also capable of controlling irradiating light quantity to a fixed value needed for optically destaticizing the residual charge. SOLUTION: This device A is provided with the single light source 82 for optically destaticizing the residual charge of the photoreceptor 2, a light transmission plate 81 guiding the light from the light source 82 to an irradiation position so as to irradiate the photoreceptor 2, and a light receiving means 83 receiving one part of the light from the light source 82 through the plate 81. A light quantity control means 84 controls the emitted light quantity of the light source 82 to fixed quantity in accordance with the receiving light quantity by the means 83. This device A is applied to such image forming device as the one provided with plural photoreceptors, and the plate 81 is desirably provided with a light transmission plate main body 811 on which the light from the light source 82 is made incident and a branching part 812 guiding the light from the main body 811 to the respective photoreceptors 2. |
