PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the adhesive amount of dispersant to a printing medium by jetting liquid toner onto a photoreceptor drum side surface corresponding to an electrostatic latent image, giving electric field to the photoreceptor drum side surface after jetting the liquid toner and removing excessive liquid toner after development. SOLUTION: A liquid toner jetting part 400 is constituted of an ink jet printing head for jetting liquid toner as a function newly added to a developing part. A liquid toner supply part (constituted of a developing tank 403, the liquid toner 402 and a supply path 404 and the like) supplies the liquid toner 402 to the jetting part 400. A developing electrode 410 applies developing electric field to the liquid toner 401 with which the surface of the photoreceptor 1 is coated by jetting. A bias power source 411 is a power source for such processing. After developing the electrostatic latent image, an absorbing roller 41 removes the excessive liquid toner 401 on the surface of the photoreceptor 1 from the surface of the photoreceptor 1 while leaving the dispersant of necessary amount for transfer and toner particles electrophoresed in the electrostatic latent image. |
