PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the toner end so as possible to be recognized in a state that the toner in the toner hopper is almost running out. SOLUTION: This image forming device is allowed to respectively dispose 4 developing units 41, to respectively dispose a pair of light guide bodies 47A and 47B in the toner hopper 43 of those developing unit 41, and to make the pair of light guide bodies on another developing unit come to the toner end detecting position, coming to the lowest position in the toner hopper 43 of the developing units 41, when shifting one of the developing units to the developing position. The device is allowed to fix the toner end detecting sensor 52, on the outside of the toner hopper and beneath the rotary center shaft O of the rotary developing device 6. |
