PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a digital microphone to digital audio equipment for business use, etc., while using an existing microphone cable of balance connection. SOLUTION: A sound is converted into an electric signal in a microphone capsule 2 and the electric signal is made into digital signal by an analog/ digital(A/D) converter 4 after amplifying it to an A/D conversion enable voltage level through a microphone amplifier 3, and outputted while being converted into a balance signal by the operation of an imbalance/balance converting circuit 6 after adding a transmission format to the signal by an audio digital output interface 5. Such a digital audio signal 8 made into balance signal is transmitted through a microphone cable 7 of balance connection and inputted to digital audio equipment for business use such as digital mixing console provided with the digital input terminal of balance connection.
