PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading correction coefficient for line sensor pixel output dispersion correction without using an uniform light source jig and to readjust a device in a field by calculating the shading correction coefficient from the dispersion components of the output of a separated line sensor and an optical system light distribution correction coefficient from light distribution irregularity components. SOLUTION: Read optical data are converted to electric signals in the line sensor 13 and converted to the digital image data of 8 bits in an A/D 41. A selector S1 is one for selecting whether or not to execute a correction processing in a shading correction circuit 42 to image data converted in the A/D 41 and outputs one of the data to which correction is not executed or executed corresponding to selection from a terminal Q. The selector S2 is one for selecting whether or not to execute a light distribution correction processing in a light distribution correction circuit to the image data outputted from the selector S1 and outputs one of the data corresponding to the selection from the terminal Q.
