PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply assemble a casing for an electronic equipment and to obtain an excellent outward appearance. SOLUTION: The casing has a front case 2 open in one direction and a rear cover 3 that closes the opening of the front case 2 an the casing 1 is assembled by coupling the rear cover 3 and the front case 2 through sliding of coupled faces 2b1, 3b1. Then the casing 1 is provided with a hook 8 that is elastically deformed and a lock reception section 5 that can lock the hook 8, with locks 6, 9 with slope faces 6a, 9a that are depressed in a direction where the locks 6, 9 are mutually engaged through sliding of the combined faces, and the rear cover 3 is screw-tightened to the front case 2 at a position opposite to the hook locking position of the locks 6, 9.
