PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component, in which faulty conduction between the connection portions of electrode patterns and connection patterns is eliminated and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An electronic component has a ceramic substrate 24, coils 17, 21 which are electrode patterns made on at least one surface of obverse and reverse surfaces of the ceramic substrates 24, an output terminal 16 which is a connection electrode made on the outer peripheral surface of the ceramic substrate 24, grounding terminals 18, 20, and connection patterns 25, 26 for connecting the output terminal 16, the grounding terminals 18, 20 and projecting bodies 17a, 21a of the connection portions of the coils 17, 21, the surfaces of the projecting bodies 17a, 21a which is recessed and roughened.
