The electric discharge path is integrated into sole of shoe, and has conductive layer (14) on top of shoe sole in contact with sole of foot, and conductive pad (13) in heel of shoe to make contact with ground. Conducting strip (5) joins part in contact with sole of foot and part in heel of shoe.
