<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to use a personal computer in a short waiting time by fast starting an OS and an application without reducing an operation frequency nor an operation voltage when starting until the OS is started or until the starting of a desired application is over even when power saving is set. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with an operation mode instructing means 13 that instructs whether to operate a normal mode or a power saving mode and an operation mode switching means 14 which switches between the normal mode and the power saving mode during operation on the basis of an instruction from the means 13 and forcedly operates the normal mode, even when the power saving mode is set, for a fixed time after starting or until desired processing is finished by having a forced normal mode operating means 12 which operates the normal mode for designated time after power is started even when the power saving mode is designated.</p> |
