PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by preventing an instruction, which is not intended by a user, from being executed in an optical disk drive by a computer virus intruding a computer system. SOLUTION: This disk reproducer executes manual operation adapted to an instruction, which is issued from the instruction issuing device 23 of a host computer 21 and received by the disk reproducer, and the operation is detected in the disk reproducer. After then, information reflecting the contents of operation is inputted to prepare an instruction based on the input and the instruction is issued from the device 23 of the computer 21 to be received by the disk reproducer. The received instruction is analyzed to be collated with detected information to decide the propriety of the execution of the instruction by the result of this collation. Since the operation contents of the disk reproducer can optionally be selected each time by the user, if the computer virus should know an instruction execution limiting function, the virus can not know as much as the operation contents of the operation part. Consequently, the computer virus is prevented from making the disk reproducer execute the instruction. |
