PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital zoom-out processor capable of processing the video images of a wide area by one screen. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with a video signal storage part for storing plural frame or field video signals, a motion information detection part 32 for detecting motion information between two video signals and a recording control part 34 for reducing inputted frame or field video images corresponding to a given magnification, storing them in the video signal storage part 30 and controlling a recording position based on the motion information from the motion information detection part 32 at the time of storing the reduced video images in the video signal storage part 30. The inputted plural frame or field video images are reduced, the reduced video images are synthesized so as to match with each other corresponding to the degree of overlapping with each other and synthesized video images are outputted. |
