PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a totally-enclosed main motor for a vehicle whose cooling effect is improved and whose life is extended. SOLUTION: A guide plate 22A is made to protrude from the lower side surface on an axle 13 side of an outer cylinder frame 1A. Running air flow produced by the run of a vehicle is divided into two flows shown by arrows D2 and D3 to increase particularly air flow against the intermediate part and upper part of the outer cylinder frame 1A to improve cooling effect of those parts. It is more desirable to add a guide plate 22A with a different shape to a truck frame side.
