PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly open/close a cover body without using a guide by moving a means grasping the cover body opening/closing an opening part for paper sheets supply along the opening/closing direction of the cover body. SOLUTION: When reject tickets are stored in a cassette and it is filled to capacity, a cover body is closed for preventing the reject ticket from jumping out. At that time, a grasping mechanism 17 is in a home position and grasping pieces 46 and 47 at the upper/lower parts of the first and second grasping parts 38 and 39 grasp both side parts of the cover body. A first driving motor 20 is driven in a positive direction and a timing belt 23 is traveled through a driving pulley 21. A moving unit 12 is moved backward with the travel. When the grasping mechanism 17 reaches the work position with the movement and a work sensor detects it, the driving of the first driving motor 20 is stopped. Then, the cover body is pushed into the cassette and the cassette is blocked by the movement of the grasping mechanism 17.
