PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona electrifier capable of improving a cleaning performance, easy to handle, excellent in quality and simplified in structure. SOLUTION: This corona electrifier is installed inside a protective shield 103 and is provided with an edge part abutting on a corona discharge wire, a wire cleaner member freely movable along the wire, and a bar-shaped member 104 connected to the wire cleaner member for moving the wire cleaner member along the wire. The electrifier is also provided with a rotation restriction part for restricting the rotation of the bar-shaped member around a shaft by being engaged with the bar-shaped member 104.
