Flexible fabric material for aerodynamic equipment and devices, e.g. clothing for speed sports like skating, cycling and athletics is at least partially provided with a pattern of recesses. Independent claims are also included for (A) the use of the disclosed fabric to manufacture sportswear, with the outer surface provided with a pattern of recesses; and (B) a sportswear manufactured from the disclosed fabric so that it lies tightly and under elastic tension against the body of a wearer.
