Blend contains, wt.%: swelled vermiculite, 35-60; fire-resistant clay, 36-43; electric filter dust, 1-20; bentonite, 1-3. Blend is moistened with aqueous solution containing structure-forming polyelectrolyte in amount 0.3-0.6 wt.% (above 100%) to moisture content no more than 1% and baked at 1000-1050 C. Polyelectrolyte molecule contains carboxyl, amide, nitrile, and ether groups.
