PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image-formation element array and an optical printing head and an image forming device using the element array capable of enhancing the degree of freedom in terms of layout. SOLUTION: This image-formation element array (1) is constituted by integrally arraying plural image-formation elements consisting of an incident surface 1a positioned on an incident side, an emitting surface 1b positioned on an emitting side, a pair of total reflection surfaces 1c nearly perpendicular to each other for guiding luminous flux from the incident surface 1a to the emitting side, and one total reflection surface 1d arranged in an optical path between the incident surface 1a and a pair of total reflection surfaces 1c or an optical path between a pair of total reflection surfaces 1c and the emitting surface 1b. Then, the incident surface 1a and the emitting surface 1b are arranged nearly in parallel with each other and an incident optical axis and an emitting optical axis are nearly parallel with each other.
