Solid premix for a laundry conditioner contains: (a) 50-90 wt.% N,N-dialk(en)yl-N-(2-amidoethyl)-N-acyloxymethyl-ammonium salts; (b) 1-20 wt.% pentaerythrityl diesters, esters, ethers and/or ether esters; and (c) 1-20 wt.% compound(s) selected from ethylene oxide adducts of amines, diamines or amides. Solid premix for a laundry conditioner contains: (a) 50-90 (preferably 70-80) wt.% N,N-dialk(en)yl-N-(2-amidoethyl)-N-acyloxymethyl-ammonium salts (I); (b) 1-20 (preferably 5-10) wt.% pentaerythrityl diesters (IIA), esters (IIB), ethers (IIC) and/or ether esters (IID); and (c) 1-20 (preferably 5-10) wt.% compound(s) selected from ethylene oxide adducts (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) of amines, diamines or amides of the given formulae; (d) 0-20 (preferably 10-15) wt.% ethylene glycol, propan-1,2-diol, polyalkylene glycols with molecular weight 200-4000 or their 1-4 C alkyl ethers; and (e) optionally acid(s). R = 1-21 C alkyl or 2-21 C alkenyl; R1 = 1-4 C alkyl; a = 1-3, preferably 3; A<-> = an anion; n = 1-5; m = 2-25; i = 0, 1 or 2; A = -C2H4- or -C3H6-; X = hydrogen or RCO-; n, b = 1-5; n1 + n2 = 2-50, preferably 2-25; a1 = 1, 2 or 3; p, a = 0; or p = 1 and a = 1, 2 or 3. An Independent claim is also included for the production of the premix by melting the individual components, mixing, homogenizing, cooling and grinding.
