The seat (1) has padding with a central part (1c) dividing it into side parts (1a,d,b,e) of the same hardness. The central part has lower hardness than the side parts, but its level corresponds mainly with those of the side parts. It is formed as a central strip extending over the complete depth of the seat. The transition between the parts is formed by drawing-in the seat covering. The padding consists of foamed plastic.
