The invention relates to the coloration of ceramics by way of ionic or compl ex- containing solutions. The solutions preferred for this purpose contain defin ed concentrations of at least one of the salts or complexes of the rare earth elements or of the elements of the subgroups. The invention further relates to a kit that comprises at least one reservoir bottle containing such a coloration solution, a container for the coloration and optionally a sieve.< /SDOAB>
