microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of probiotic for ruminant animals. Invention proposes the strain Lactobacillus acido-philus var. coccoideus M-86 VKPM B-4992. Strain is isolated from dominating gastroenteric tract microflora of healthy calf by method of accumulative culture in media MRS, Leonovitch, Perekopov at 28-30 C. Culture is isolated from monocolonies and identified by Bergey key. Strain shows technological effectiveness for production of probiotic under industrial conditions. EFFECT: strain indicated above, improved method of probiotic producing.
